Jeffery Ang
Jeffery Ang, a seasoned professional with a rich background in investigation and law enforcement, serves as the Senior Partner at the Center for Studies in Investigation and Catchalie Consultancy. His expertise in investigation and interview training has been sought after by organizations both locally and internationally.
Mr. Ang's illustrious career spans over 27 years in the Police, Criminal Investigation Department (CID), and Commercial Affairs Department (CAD). He was instrumental in establishing the School of Criminal Investigation and developing comprehensive investigation courses for all investigators within the police, CID, and CAD.
Since 2002, he has been the go-to training provider for Interview Techniques and Specialist Investigation Courses at the Civil Service College. His training programs are not just limited to the college; he has also conducted numerous in-house courses for a variety of organizations.
His clientele includes the Commercial Affairs Department, Police, Singapore & Malaysian Customs, and major corporations such as Prudential, GE Life, AIA, and NTUC Income insurers. He has also worked with OCBC Bank, IIA Global Conference, and the Global White Collar Crime Conference in Hong Kong.
Internationally, Mr. Ang has provided his expertise to the Police Integrity Commission in Maldives and conducted a Fraud Investigation course for the Ministry of Finance Afghanistan in Dubai. He has also trained regional auditors of Fortune 500 Company Flextronics in China, where he was lauded for delivering an exceptional program.
From 2003 to 2007, Mr. Ang held the position of Head of Loss Prevention at Sentosa Leisure Group. He managed the investigation, prosecution, enforcement, and security functions, leading a team of approximately a hundred staff members. His tenure was marked by the successful implementation of a disciplinary framework and resolution of numerous frauds, theft, and misconduct cases.
In recognition of his outstanding performance, Mr. Ang was awarded a commendation from the Singapore Police in 2006. His extensive experience and proven track record make him a highly respected figure in the field of investigation and law enforcement.
